Louisville Metro USBC Youth All City Points System 2023-24
Eligibility

ANY LMUSBC YOUTH MEMBER (at the $12 full membership tier) IN GOOD STANDING

Bowlers will earn points starting on August 1, 2023 and ending on April 20, 2024
Divisions - The top point earning boy and girl will be named Bowler of the Year,
and will be joined by the next 5 point earning boys and girls being named as
Boys and Girls All City Teams for the year.
Points will be earned for the following:
HONOR SCORES:

Boys will earn 5 points for each 300 game, 10 points for each 800 series.

Girls will earn 5 points for each 300 game, 10 points for each 750 series.

Awards must be turned in to LMUSBC to count. Honor scores processed by other associations will NOT be counted.
LEAGUE AVERAGES:

Bowlers must have a minimum of 40 games for an average to count. Only the bowler’s highest average will count if they have more than one, and any average that is registered on a sport condition will be rerated according to the USBC sport chart for the purpose of assigning points.

The bowler with the highest average in the association (Boy & Girl) will receive 20 points.

The bowler with the highest 3 game series in the association (Boy & Girl) will receive 10 points.

Bowlers will earn the following points based on their highest year end average:

230 and above - 40 points

220 - 229 - 35 points
-
210 - 219 - 30 points
-
200 - 209 - 25 points
-
190 - 199 - 20 points
-
180 - 189 - 15 points
-
170 - 179 - 10 points
-
169 and below - 5 points
-
TOURNAMENTS:

Bowlers will earn points based on performance in these 5 tournaments. A bowler’s best 4 finishes will be used if they bowl more than 4 events. Bowlers participating in less than 4 events are still eligible.
